The size of the papers, access for changing notices and exposure to weather all affect the finished board. The door, glazing, backing, locks and water-shedding details are considered as a complete enclosure rather than added after the frame is made.

Suitable for

  • Parish and local authority sites
  • Estates, schools and churches
  • Parks and visitor destinations
  • Community organisations and managed grounds

Maintenance & repair

Made for maintenance and repair.

Outdoor cabinets need periodic inspection of seals, glazing, hinges, locks, backing and water-shedding details. Individual hardware and enclosure components can be renewed where practical, extending the service life of the main timber structure.
