What Albion manufactures
Albion Wood Products makes gates, benches, picnic tables, fingerposts, ladder signs, noticeboards, lecterns, waymarkers, bridges, pergolas, oak framing and other landscape structures.
Every product needs to work in its setting. We use traditional joinery where it brings a practical benefit, alongside accurate machining and careful production checks. Timber, drainage and fixings are considered together, with stainless steel or another suitable exterior-grade fixing used where the job calls for it.

Inspection, maintenance and replacement parts are considered from the outset.
Materials, fixings, finish, scope and exclusions are set out before you order.
We can quote for supply only, delivery or managed installation.
You’ll deal with one person from the first enquiry through to handover.
Designed to be maintained
Where practical, Albion designs components so they can be inspected, maintained, repaired or replaced individually. The intended fixing, drainage and access for future work are considered before manufacture.
Replacement parts and repair services are available where the product’s condition and construction make repair sensible, including products made elsewhere.

A single bench will not need the same level of information as a larger site package. Either way, the steps remain straightforward.
Send a drawing, specification, photograph, details of an existing item or an initial idea.
We talk through the use, dimensions, site conditions, access and responsibilities.
We set out the proposed timber, construction, scope and price in writing.
Where needed, drawings are issued for approval before manufacture.
Your product is made to the approved information, with checks at the appropriate stages.
Delivery, access and installation follow the documented scope.
Care information, records and maintenance options are provided when included.
British timber & manufacture
We prefer British-grown timber where it is suitable, available and commercially practical, and aim to work with British suppliers and manufacturers. British oak is used where the job and specification justify it.
Sometimes European oak or a durable softwood is the better choice for the use, quantity or budget. We will explain the options and identify the proposed timber, stated origin, fixings and finish in the quotation.
About Albion
Nathan Russell has more than nine years of experience in joinery and the manufacture of outdoor timber products.
The business was founded on a simple view: outdoor timber products should not be treated as disposable. A well-made product should be maintained, repaired and kept in service for as long as practical.
Albion is not interested in producing the cheapest version. The aim is to make it well, use suitable materials and think about maintenance and eventual repair from the outset.
