Bespoke timber structures

Some requirements fall outside a standard product range. Albion can assess suitable outdoor timber structures and develop the construction, interfaces and installation scope with the client and relevant project professionals.

Products & options

Specified for the job.

These are typical examples rather than a fixed catalogue. Sizes, timber sections, details and components are agreed before manufacture.

Design considerations

The location affects the construction.

Exposure, ground conditions, access and intended use influence the material and detailing. These points are resolved before timber is ordered.

  1. 01Intended use, span, loading and design responsibility
  2. 02Ground, foundations, interfaces and drainage
  3. 03Site access, lifting and installation planning
  4. 04Permissions, engineering or specialist input where required
  5. 05Inspection, maintenance and component replacement

Materials & construction

The material must suit the work.

Materials are proposed according to exposure, structural need, design responsibility and budget. Any requirement for engineering, specialist finishes or third-party approval is identified in the project scope.

Traditional joinery is used where it provides the right result, alongside accurate modern machining and production control. Joints, fixings and replaceable components are selected for outdoor exposure, inspection and future repair.

Quoted to specification

Price depends on the timber, dimensions, quantity, components, finish, delivery, access and installation. Albion quotes each requirement against a written scope.
